The Jackson Town Council is currently accepting letters of application to serve on the Town Planning & Zoning Commission and for the Board of Examiners. Both of these are volunteer positions. The application deadline is July 31, 2020 at 5:00 pm.
Members of the Board of Examiners shall be residents of the Town of Jackson or Teton County, Wyoming. There are 3 seats available for 2-year terms.
The BoE is made up of tradespeople from the mechanical, plumbing, electrical and building trades or others who have knowledge of such issues. They assist with the Contractor Licensing program and serve[SB1] as the Board of Appeals as required by the building code, in order to hear and decide appeals of orders, decisions, or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of the building code.
Letters of interest should be addressed to the Town Council, Attn: Town Clerk.
Letters will be accepted by email to email@example.com or dropped off at Town Hall. Application deadline is 5:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2020.

There are 3 seats available for 3-year terms on this board. Applicants must be residents and qualified electors of the Town for a minimum of 2 years prior to their appointment and may not hold any other public office or any position within the Town government. Although no specific experience is necessary, persons with knowledge in planning, architecture, natural resource management, real estate, or a related field would be helpful.
