START Bus Follows Mask Mandate Extension

Jackson, Wyo. April 14, 2022 – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced that the face mask requirement for individuals travelling on all transportation networks, including on commuter buses, has been extended through May 3, 2022.

Face coverings are required on all START Buses.  Please do not ride START Bus if you will not wear a face covering or if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.  We ask that you do not ride the bus if you have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19.

If you are planning on riding the START Bus this season, please remember that the federal mask requirement will remain in place through May 3, 2022. This mandate was issued per President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 13998 and the Transportation Security Administration’s security directive requiring masks to be worn on all public transit systems nationwide to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

START Bus encourages residents and visitors to safely support the reduction of traffic this season by riding START Bus, walking or biking.  When utilizing START bus, riders are asked to continue practicing social distancing when possible, using hand sanitizer when boarding and departing the bus, staying home when sick and wearing a mask.
