With Memorial Day weekend here many people are out celebrating the up and coming summer season. The Jackson Police Department has teamed up with local youth in the community to help keep alcohol out of the hands of minors. Law enforcement will be conducting compliance checks to ensure that businesses are complying with the law. Research shows the more frequently compliance checks are conducted, the less likely youth are to obtain alcohol. Help us keep alcohol out of the hands of our youth. If you are a business owner, ensure that your employees are asking for identification of everyone that looks under the age of 30.
