Westview Townhomes Groundbreaking Ceremony
Jackson, WY, July 5, 2019 – Members of the public are invited to celebrate the groundbreaking for the next deed restricted housing development in Jackson. Once built, Westview Townhomes will provide 16 units that will be deed restricted as Workforce Ownership and four units that will be market ownership. The groundbreaking ceremony will start at 11:00 AM at the future site of the townhomes, 1255 West Highway 22 in the place where Choice Meats was formally located.
“This project is part of the 243 deed restricted units in the new unit pipeline and we are excited to see development begin,” said Jackson/Teton County Housing Department Director April Norton.
The developer, Hunter McCardle with Red Roots Communities, estimates that units will be ready for occupants in September 2020. He will be on hand at the groundbreaking to say a few words, along with members from the Jackson Town Council, and Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.
To qualify for Workforce Ownership units, households must earn 75% of their income locally, work full time for a local business, and may not own property within 150 miles of Teton County.
