START Bus Increases Teton Valley Service

Jackson, Wyo. October 31, 2019 – START Bus is excited to announce their latest service expansion with a fourth commuter run for Star Valley that is set to begin on Monday, December 2, 2019.  Departure times from Etna will be 5:30am, 6:25am, 6:50am and 7:20am.   Departures from Jackson will be 4:39pm, 5:00pm, 5:30pm and 7:45pm.

“Throughout the year, activities occur within our community that can affect our transit system – traffic patterns, economic factors, ridership and customer feedback,” said START Bus Director Darren Brugmann.   “We respond by considering and implementing changes to our bus system that will potentially help improve our service and meet the needs of the community.”

In addition to the increased service, START Bus would like to remind people that effective Saturday, November 30th, 2019 START will move to the winter season schedule.  The winter schedule will run through Sunday, April 12, 2020. This change will bring with it an additional run to/from Star Valley, increased service to/from Teton Village and later Town Shuttle service each day. Please visit our website at for more detailed information about the schedule.

START Bus encourages you to consider supporting the reduction of traffic by riding the bus, walking, biking or engaging in rideshare opportunities.   Please check for details on all of the routes, schedules and fees or contact START Bus directly at (307) 733-4521.
