Blotter time! Here is the only report call we had from yesterday.
20042042: On April 22, 2020, at 10:56 a.m., Officer Proctor responded to a report of fraud. A local bank reported that one of their customers cashed a check into the account which appeared to be a counterfeit check for $15000.00. Before the bank could cancel the check the customer withdrew $8500.00 in cash. The bank was unable to contact the customer so they contacted the police department. The investigation is ongoing.
