Police Blotter
May 1-3, 2020
20050036: On May 1, 2020, at 10:43 a.m., while investigating another case, Officer Figueroa received a report of a domestic assault. A woman reported that her boyfriend slapped her during an argument and struggle. We are still trying to locate the boyfriend to get a full accounting of what occurred. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the man could be cited or arrested.
20050304: On May 3, 2020, at 5:11 a.m., Officer O’Donnell responded to a report of Theft. The victim reported leaving their bicycle under a tree, unsecured. During that time, someone took their $900, black Jamis Sputnik track bicycle. This happens to many bike owners during the summer months. We encourage everyone to lock your stuff, so a thief doesn’t come by and take what’s yours.
20050308: On May 3, 2020, at 5:49 a.m., Officer Blair responded to a disturbance call in which a woman yelled to neighbors out her window asking them to call 911. Thankfully, someone did and officers responded to investigate. Officer Blair determined that no crime occurred, but that the women was pulling the electrical receptacles apart because she believed they contained bugs to spy on her. Officer Blair did not believe this was the case and called the building management to have them repair the exposed wiring. The women was released to the care of her family.
