Police Blotter
May 6, 2020
Welcome to the blotter!
20050609: On May 6, 2020, at 1:47 p.m., Sgt. Ruschill responded to assist Probation Parole. They had one of their probationers whom they needed taken to the jail. He was apparently intoxicated and telling his probation officer he would fight with the police if they came for him. Sgt. Ruschill brought some friends to this problem in the form of two Teton County deputies, (Thanks brothers). The 32 year old Jackson, WY man was arrested without incident.
20050631: On May 6, 2020, at 4:19 p.m., Sgt. Ruschill responded to a report of Harassment at a business. The business reported getting both email and mail communication. We are not releasing any other information on this to protect the privacy of the individual and business involved.
20050651: On May 6, 2020, at 7:38 p.m., Officer Gerlach responded to a report of an animal attack. He learned that a vet-tech was bitten by a cat several days ago and was now being medically treated. This may not seem like a big deal to many of you, but our furry little companions (dogs, cats, etc.) are potential carriers of a near 100% lethal disease called rabies. That’s why it’s critical your pets are vaccinated and that you exert the proper care and control over them to make sure they don’t bite.
