Blotter Time!
20052338: On May 21, 2020, Officer Kynett was doing a little speed enforcement on Meadowlark Lane. We’ve been receiving a number of complaints about that street, so she was trying to take care of the problem. While doing so, she saw two men walking down the street one of them pointing at the other. It looked like things were going to get out of hand, so she go out to intervene. Keep in mind, Officer Kynett is nowhere near as big as these men. This is why we carry all the tools on our belt. There is always someone bigger, faster, and stronger out there and you never know when you’re going to meet them. Fortunately, she didn’t have to use those tools and was able to do her job without anyone getting hurt. She learned that one of the men had been coming into a business for the last week. He hadn’t bought anything and was sexually harassing the female employees and drinking their coffee. That wasn’t okay with the manager and he confronted the man. Officer Kynett issued a trespass notice to the man, so he’s going to have to go someplace else to get free coffee.
