Jackson, Wyo. September 2, 2020 – START Bus announced that it will be adjusting service for Monday, September 7, 2020 in observance of Labor Day.
START Bus will not be operating commuter services on Monday, September 7, 2020 for both the Teton Valley, Idaho and the Star Valley, Wyoming bus lines. This decision was recently made considering the reduced level of service due to COVID-19 and after reviewing ridership numbers from last year.
It should also be noted that in compliance with Teton District Public Health Order #20-6, face coverings are required to be worn by all START Bus passengers. START Bus drivers will have masks and hand sanitizer available for all passengers if needed.
Social distancing may be difficult to achieve during certain peak times of the day. Should a bus appear too crowded to maintain six feet of social distancing then riders are encouraged to wait for the next bus if possible.
START Bus encourages all riders to practice good hygiene by washing hands or using hand sanitizer before boarding and upon disembarking. If you feel ill or have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive with COVID-19 please do not ride START Bus.
START appreciates the community’s understanding as we continue to monitor the best way to safely service the community.
