For the last forty years, the Town of Jackson has not levied a property tax. It has been a revenue tool utilized by Teton County, the Teton County School District, the Teton County Fair, the Teton County Library, the Teton County Conservation District and Weed and Pest. The Town will, for the first time in forty years collect a property tax. A half mill will be levied which would lead to a $47.50 annual increase in current property taxes for a property valued at $1M. Read More

The State of Wyoming has been working on adopting new Building Codes of 2021 and require that the Town of Jackson shift from the current 2018 codes to the updated 2021 codes by January 1, 2022, for all State adopted codes including the International Energy Conservation Code, Building & Residential Codes, and the Wildland-Urban Interface Code. 2023 Jackson Hole Elk Antler Shed Hunt Information
Learn more about the 2023 Jackson Hole elk antler shed hunt which is scheduled to take place on May 1. This year, like last year, the Jackson Police Department will organize a motorcade which will depart from the Fairgrounds to the Elk Refuge Road the morning of May 1.
