Additional Plowing Tomorrow - Saturday, February 9th
Tomorrow there will be some additional NO PARKING areas on a few select streets in town. This will allow the Public Works crew additional time to remove snow from the streets.
The closure will be for Saturday (2/9/19) from 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon on these streets:
1. Snow King Avenue (from Millward to Vine Street)
2. Cache Street (from Snow King Avenue to Aspen)
These streets will be signed with "No Parking" signs for tomorrow while crews work to remove snow.
This last storm produced enough snow that the roadways in these areas have become too narrow for cars to safely pass.
On February 4th and 5th Jackson beat the daily snowfall record (kept since 1905) for both days. The storm ranked 4th overall for 2 day total snowfall.
