Congratulations go out to Jerad Weston - Community Service Corporal for the Town of Jackson's Police Department.
Jerad is the recipient of this month's Value Jackson Award.
He was nominated by Senior Collection Systems Operator, Sam Stephens, for this award.
According to Sam Stephens, Jerad is a dedicated Police Department employee who exemplifies many of the Town values. "Recently, at Garaman Park Pathway, the creek had overflowed and ice and standing water had created a hazardous situation. When I went there to place barricades and cones, I found Jared already there in his soaked boots warning the public to avoid the area. He helped me place the barricades and cones, and the following morning he was back out there with Parks and Rec sanding the ice slicks. He takes pride in his work and has a true passion for helping others. He always has a positive attitude and treats coworkers and citizens with respect and courtesy."
Thank you Jared for your commitment to the citizens, visitors, and employees of the Town of Jackson.
Each month one Town of Jackson employee who has demonstrated exemplary levels of one or more of the Town Values:
• Openness
• Innovation
• Respect
• Professionalism
• Positive Workplace
• Stewardship & Conservation
• It Is My Job. It Is Our Job.
….is selected to receive the Value Jackson Award.
If you see Jerad around, give him a high five and tell him “Congrats!”
