The Town of Jackson’s Public Works Department currently has several projects ongoing or scheduled to begin. These projects will all necessitate road closures. The Center Street Water Main Replacement Project and the Cache Creek Tube Stormwater Project (Phase 2C) are on-going and will continue throughout the month of April.
Beginning Wednesday, April 15, 2020 the Deloney START Bus stop will be relocated one block east of Willow until further notice due to the construction and road closures associated with the Cache Creek Tube Stormwater Project (Phase 2C). Both Bruun Street, between Broadway and Deloney, and Deloney Avenue, between King Street and Willow Street will be closed necessitating the relocation of the START Bus Stop until these streets reopen. If you have any questions regarding the temporary relocation of the Deloney bus stop please contact START Bus at 307-733-4521.
In addition to the downtown construction projects, two additional street projects in town will begin this week. On Wednesday, April 15, 2020, Vine Street between Snow King Avenue and E. Karns Avenue will be closed for street maintenance and repairs. On Thursday, April 16, 2020, Scott Lane, between Broadway and Alpine Lane will be closed for street maintenance and repairs
Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification signage, and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers.
