Town Council Action Items

The Jackson Town Council meet on Monday, March 8th at 3:00pm for a Special Meeting. The following are the highlights from this special workshop:
• The Council approved the use of Flex Spaces, Parklets, additional signage, and sanitation stations for the upcoming summer.
• Short-term parking management measures were approved including 1) Converting Taxi-to-Fly spaces in parking garage to regular public parking spaces, 2) Adding ADA accessible parking downtown, 3) Adding bicycle parking downtown, 4) Adding 15-minute parking stalls near high-turnover businesses, and 5) Developing employee parking maps and communication program.
Remember! THE APRIL 5 JIM AND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS WERE CANCELLED DUE TO SPRING BREAK. A SPECIAL JIM AND COUNCIL MEETING WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 12 AT 3PM AND 6PM.
