[ARCHIVED] 7:30pm Teton Valley Commuter Bus Cancelled Tonight

START Pass

7:30pm Teton Valley Commuter Bus Cancelled Tonight

Jackson, Wyo. March 1, 2019 – Due to the closure of Teton Pass this morning, the final Teton Valley commuter START bus was unable to make it to Jackson.   Therefore the 7:30pm return trip to Teton Valley for Friday, March 1, 2019 has been cancelled.    There are 3 Teton Valley commuter buses scheduled to depart Jackson at 3:45pm, 5:05pm and 6:00pm, respectively.

Currently Teton Pass is closed and the estimated opening time is unknown.   If the pass is not open in time for the return trips tonight then the Teton Valley commuter buses will use an alternative route through the Snake River Canyon, Swan Valley and over Pine Creek Pass to access Teton Valley instead of driving over Teton Pass.  If the pass is opened for traffic in time then the Teton Valley commuter buses will utilize the Teton Pass for the return trips.   Please know that START is in communication with WYDOT regarding this situation.

Three Teton Valley commuter buses are scheduled to depart Snow King at 3:45pm, 5:05pm, and 6:00pm, respectively.   There will not be a 7:30pm Teton Valley commuter bus departure from Snow King this evening.  Please plan accordingly.

The Star Valley commuter runs are not currently impacted and will remain on schedule.

Due to road conditions and traffic, Teton Village routes may be impacted today.     START Bus personnel are working diligently to keep the impacts as minimal as possible.  We appreciate everyone’s patience.

START Bus recommends all commuter riders to keep an eye out on the upcoming weather and stay connected through WYDOT information and with START Bus through the Rider Alert feature on the www.startbus.com home page.
