Spreading Holiday Cheer Across the Pond
A few weeks ago a fellow in Norwich, England sent an email to the Town Hall. He informed us that he and his colleagues at work tune in on a regular basis to the webcams around town.
He asked if there was any way a banner could be placed on the Elk Antler Arches giving a shout out to this group across the Atlantic Ocean.
While throughout the holiday season many stockings are hung by the fireplace with care.....our Municipal Code prohibits signs or banners from being hung on the Elk Antler Arches...so we thought we'd do the next best thing.
During a lunch break a couple of folks from the Town Hall ran over to the cross walk in front of the Elk Antler Arches bearing signs that read: "Happy Holidays to all of our friends at DaTT in Norwich, England."
They saw it!
Here's the next email we received from Norwich, England: "It really made the day for my team. I’m out of the office but was watching on my phone. Thanks again, & here’s wishing you and all the folks in Jackson the best Christmas ever."
They sent us a picture too!
Wishing everyone both near and far a very Happy and Safe Holiday Season!
