Parks & Recreation would like to thank all the ice skaters in the community for a great winter season!
As of Wednesday March 4, 2020, all ice rinks in the Town of Jackson and Wilson will be closing for the season.
Staff worked diligently over the last week to keep them safe and functional as temperatures have begun to warm and had hoped to keep them up through the weekend. Recent evening temperatures have barely reached freezing and with highs forecast into the low 50’s by Friday we are unable to keep them open moving forward.
We are awaiting an update on Alta ice rink to determine its status today as well, stay posted for that information. We will post the update on our Twitter feed as well. The feed is linked to our website. http://www.tetonparksandrec.org/1355/Ice-Rinks If you have any questions feel free to contact the Parks Department at dbierman@tetoncountywy.gov.
