In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town has added options to its online public meeting tools, including tools specifically for public participation. If you would like to listen and view the public meeting as before, you are welcome to use the existing feature on the Town website and the meeting will be streamed live at: www.jacksonwy.gov/live. A recording of the meeting will be archived on the Town’s website and available within a few hours following this meeting.

Due to recommended social distancing practices the public is encouraged to view the meeting online and to participate remotely. Elected officials, presenters, and staff members may not be physically present at the meeting and may all be participating remotely. Because of this, there will be appropriate pauses throughout the meeting to facilitate smooth participation by these parties.

If you would like to make public comment on items at this meeting, your options are below:

1. Public comment can be sent anytime via email to council@jacksonwy.gov.

2. Public comment can also be made remotely in real-time using the WebEx platform.

a. In brief, those wishing to make verbal public comment may do so by joining the WebEx meeting and using the ‘hand raise’ feature in order to be recognized.

b. When joining the meeting, pursuant to Wyoming Statutes and as required on the WebEx platform, please provide your first and last name and your email address. You will be prompted for a password and that is provided in the specific instructions below.

c.  Those that “raise their hand” electronically for public comment will be heard by all those participating remotely, but video will not be projected.

d.  Those wishing to make public comment that have not provided their valid first and last name will not be recognized and will not have the ability to speak.

e.  Those who use the WebEx telephone call-in feature only will not be recognized.

f.  The WebEx chat feature will be disabled and unavailable.

g.  Specific instructions are below for using the WebEx platform.

3.  Public comment can be made in person at the Town Hall. However, as noted above, elected officials may all be participating remotely. Also, even though the government is exempt, due to the Public Health Order prohibiting gatherings of 10 or more people and for public safety, the Town of Jackson will be managing the social distance of the public in attendance.

To attend today’s meeting remotely for the purposes of making public comment, please use the following URL and password to join the meeting.

Once logged in to the meeting, please familiarize yourself with the platform and its tools. Of particular importance is the “raise hand” feature. Please locate this tool if you desire to make public comment. This is the method by which we will know to enable your audio during the appropriate portion of the meeting.

If you’ve not used Webex before, you may be required to download Webex’s tools and/or software and apps in order to interact. The Webex platform, its tools, and apps are provided by Webex directly. As these components are from a third party, we aren’t able to provide support directly to end users. If you should have trouble with the platform, please reference Webex’s help resources at https://help.webex.com/en-us/

We encourage early log in to the platform for any given meeting. Generally, the Town of Jackson strives to have the platform ready 15 minutes before a listed meeting’s start time.
