On Friday, March 27, 2020 at 3:00PM, representatives from St. John’s Health, Teton County Emergency Services, Teton County Health Department, the Jackson Town Council, and the Teton Board of County Commissioners will provide a COVID-19 community update.   This community update will be streamed live, online on the Town of Jackson’s website, www.jacksonwy.gov.  Once on the Town’s homepage the meeting can be viewed by clicking the “Watch a Meeting” icon.

This update will enable our community to hear from local experts about the current situation, mitigation measures in place, resources currently available, and actions that we as individuals can take to help keep ourselves, our loved ones and this entire valley safe and healthy.

Dr. Paul Beaupre, CEO of St. John’s Health; Rich Ochs, Teton County Emergency Management Coordinator; Jodie Pond, Teton County Public Health Director; Pete Muldoon, Mayor of Jackson; Natalia Macker, Chair of the Teton Board of County Commissioners; and Dr. Travis Riddell, the Teton District Health Officer will all be present to provide an update on the current situation in Teton County.

This meeting will be held at the Town Hall; however, in an effort to practice appropriate social distancing, it will not be open to the public.   We invite and encourage all members of the community to watch the meeting online.   For individuals unable to watch the update live, please know that it will be archived on the Town of Jackson’s website.

In Jackson, we know we are stronger together, and with our entire community practicing physical distancing we can protect the most vulnerable among us and reduce the spread of COVID-19. As individuals, we can check in on our neighbors. Our community is working together for the best possible tomorrow.
