On June 29, 2020 the Jackson Town Council unanimously approved Resolution #20-21: A Resolution Supporting A Requirement To Wear Face Coverings In Public Places. This Resolution supports the Teton County Health Department and the Teton County Health Officer, with regard to the public health orders currently in effect and their efforts to enact order(s) requiring the wearing of face coverings in public. TETON COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS
The Teton District Health Officer has issued six (8) recommendations. Recommendations are guidelines and are not enforceable as law. Of these 8 recommendations, the Teton Health District Officer is still recommending the following:
Recommendation #8: That all persons in within Teton County, Wyoming, including the City of Jackson, Wyoming, are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings in certain public settings.
