Special Town Council Meeting | Tuesday, July 6, 2021
At 6:00pm, the Jackson Town Council will begin their Special Meeting in the Council Chambers and via Zoom starting with the introduction of the Town’s new employees: Police Officer, Paul Jacobson and Street Operator, Kyle Badura. The meeting will then continue with consent items including a request for a temporary sign from the National Museum of Wildlife Art and consideration of a traffic study contract for Snow King Avenue and Gregory Lane. Next, Assistant Town Manager, Roxanne Robinson will present several options for members of the public and Town Council to continue to participate in Town Council meetings virtually.
Town Manager Larry Pardee will present ten Resolutions from the Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM), including three proposed by the Town of Jackson, that will be voted on by the member cities and towns at WAM’s upcoming Summer Convention. The three Resolutions proposed by the Town of Jackson include maintaining full retail value of net metering (Resolution 21-06), supporting efforts to expand options for local governments to generate revenue (Resolution 21-07), and reinvigoration of Home Rule (Resolution 21-08).
Following WAM Resolutions the Town Clerk, Lynsey Lenamond, will read Ordinances related to several proposed annexations. Under ‘Matters from Mayor & Council’ Members of the Board of Examiners will be considered for reappointment, followed by Board and Commission Reports, and anything else Council brings up.
