Portion of Snow King Avenue Closed during the Teton County Fair


 

July 28 – The Teton County Fair is in full swing.  In an effort to keep all fairgoers safe, Snow King Avenue between Flat Creek Drive and Millward Street will be closed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM from Wednesday, July 28 through Sunday, August 1.     

Motorists are encouraged to allot additional time if travelling in this portion of town and to expect some detours. Individuals attending the Fair are encouraged to walk, bike and take the bus to the Fairgrounds.

This portion of Snow King Avenue will be open for through traffic between the hours of 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM throughout the Fair.  Individuals residing along this portion of Snow King Avenue will be able to access their homes throughout the event.

All motorists are encouraged to utilize additional caution during this time as it is anticipated that there will be an increased amount of foot and bicycle activity this week near the Fairgrounds.  Individuals walking or biking are asked to obey all rules of the road and utilize crosswalks.  If travelling at night, pedestrians should consider bringing a flashlight and wearing reflective clothing in an effort to be more visible to motorists.
