Special Joint Information Meeting & Regular Meeting | Monday, October 4

October 1 – Jackson’s Town Council and the County Commission will meet for a Special Workshop from 1:30-5:00pm on Monday, October 4. This Special Meeting will start with updates from Human Service agencies including the Community Counseling Center, the Community Safety Network, Children’s Learning Center, Curran Seeley Foundation, Hole Food Rescue, Teton Youth & Family Services, Voices JH, Immigrant Hope, One22, Climb WY, Community Entry Services, Teton Literacy Center, and the Senior Center of JH. After that, Parks & Rec Director Steve Ashworth will lead a discussion about the Rec Center Expansion.

 

After that meeting, Town Council will hold its Regular Meeting at 6:00pm, which will start with an introduction of new Street Operator, Zackary Edwards. The Consent Calendar will be considered next including meeting minutes, temporary sign permits, a sewer connection request from Indian Springs, and a contract for a Technical Review of the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. After that, Assistant Town Manager Roxanne Robinson will present a Concession Agreement for the Rodeo. Then Building Official Kelly Sluder will present a 90-day Stay of Demolition for 165 N. Glenwood. Next, Ordinance O, a Text Amendment to the Town’s Land Development Regulations for NL-5 Zoning Districts will be up for its second reading. The meeting will conclude with ‘Matters from the Mayor & Council’ and the Town Manager’s report. 


Public comment will be taken on items listed under ‘Public Hearings, Discussion &/or Possible Action Items’ via Zoom and digital attendance is welcome, details below.
