Purpose
The purpose of zoning map amendment is to publicly review a change to the Official Zoning Map to ensure that it improves implementation of the Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan or address other health, safety, or welfare issues in the community.
When Is This Required?
A zoning map amendment application is required for any proposal to change the zoning classification of a property, and therefore the applicable land development regulations (LDRs).

- How Long: Up to 150 days after application deemed sufficient

- Recommendation: Planning Commission
- Final Decision: Town Council

How to Apply
A pre-application is required prior to submittal of a Zoning Map Amendment. A neighborhood meeting is required as well. You must submit within 1 year of pre-application conference.
