About the Department

The Town of Jackson Public Works Department handles the design, operation, and maintenance of: Town and County vehicles, START Buses, Police cars, Public infrastructure, Roads and sidewalks, Wastewater systems, Water systems, and Town owned facilities.

The Public Works Department is made up of the following divisions:

• Water Division
• Wastewater Division
• Fleet Division
• Facilities Division

Construction Projects

Vine Street 
The Town is in initial planning stages for updates to Vine Street and held a Community Engagement Workshop about this project on March 10, 2022.
