Need to request a copy of a Police Report?

Jackson's Police Department maintains records in accordance with Wyoming's state retention schedule.

Allow 7 days after submitting your request to receive the report or a status update on your request.

  • You must submit this form to initiate a request. The Police Department will contact you about the fee amount required before the report is released. Fees are set by Town Council Resolution #25-14 effective July 1, 2025.
  • Defendants in open criminal cases, must request the report through the prosecuting attorney.     
  • Insurance/Legal/Government agencies may request records via email or fax on company stationery.    
  • Reports connected to an active investigation may not be released until adjudicated.  
  • Jackson Police records are released according to Wyoming State Statutes.

Attention Defendants / Victims: If you are a defendant or victim in an active or open case with the Teton County Attorney's Office, your request must be made through the Teton County Attorney's Office. Call 307-733-4012.
