Transit Related Positions 

As part of our compliance for receipt of Federal Transit Administration funds, we want to inform applicants of available training programs, professional development opportunities, and any entrance requirements.

  • The Town of Jackson periodically conducts leadership development training for employees in the organization through an outside consultant.  This type of training is budget dependent and class size can be limited. However, in most cases, any employee in the organization is welcome and encouraged to attend and participate without any entrance requirements. 
  • Each Department in the organization has a supported training and professional development budget where training and professional development opportunities are identified, budgeted for, and employee attendance may be required based on the type of position held.
